Structure

A campus club with a profit and loss statement.

If you have ever joined a university club or society, you already understand how Ecoboo works.

Each campus has its own committee. A GO leads it, an SO handles stock and posters, a CO runs daily distribution. The same shape as a president, a treasurer and a bureau.
Members join because they want to. No contract, no compulsory shifts, no penalty for a week where you did not sell.
Leadership is earned, not appointed from outside. Every campus leader started as a seller on that campus.
Only one thing is different. A club produces events and certificates. Ecoboo produces income — 80% of which goes straight to the member who made the sale.
And it still looks good on a resume. Running a printing line that turns over RM10,000 a semester says more than most committee positions.

Roles

Everyone starts as Personnel. CO, SO and GO are all filled from people already selling on that campus — promotion follows output, not tenure.

Personnel

The core of the company. You sell — goodies, drinks, meals, printing, digital schemes — to the students around you, and you keep 80% of the gross profit on every sale you make.

CO · Rotating daily role

Chief Operator

The field lead for a given day. Handles meal pickup from the supplier and distribution across the blocks, and is the point of contact while a run is live.

SO · By appointment

Specialist Operator

Owns the physical side of a campus: stock levels, restocking runs, storage and poster design. On most campuses the SO also runs the printing line, which is the largest single revenue source.

GO · Campus authority

General Operator

The campus governor. Holds the campus QR and account, sets local pricing and stock strategy, and carries the campus target. A GO is not an employee — they run a local economy and are measured on its output.

Leadership is unpaid unless you are selling.

This is the most important rule in the structure and we would rather you knew it before applying than after. A title in Ecoboo carries authority, not income. Operators earn the same way everyone else does — by selling — which is what keeps decisions about pricing, stock and workload honest.

Executives

An EO does not run a campus. They run a sector.

The Executive Operator sits outside the campus structure entirely. They oversee several campuses at once and work directly with the founder. The full remit is briefed after registration.

What an EO actually learnsRead

An Executive Operator learns to do what the founder does, directly from him. That means funding — where capital comes from, how it is deployed and how it comes back. Operations across several campuses at once. Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers. Reading campus performance and deciding where the money goes next.

And you do not do it alone. You get access to the same systems, data, suppliers, network and AI operations layer that runs the whole company. The support behind you is substantial — that is the entire offer.

Casual About RM20 a week RM20.32/ week

A few sales a day inside your own block, mostly to people you already know. This is the floor — what selling on the side realistically looks like if you do it properly but do not chase it.

Steady About RM47 a week RM47.40/ week

A regular round of your block plus a small food drop. You are known as the person who has stock, and people come to you rather than the other way round.

Committed About RM113 a week RM112.64/ week

Running food and goodies together, with scheduled drops. This is the level our strongest Personnel operate at — it takes real organisation, and the food lines are what move it.

Read these figures honestly

These are examples, not promises. They show what happens if you actually sell those quantities — it is not a salary, nothing is guaranteed, and nobody is going to shout at you for a slow week.

What you can sell depends on your campus stock, and demand moves week to week — exam weeks spike printing and noodles, semester break empties everything. Most people start somewhere around the first scenario and build from there.

The General Operator or headquarters walks you through the product lines, the pricing, the QR rules and how the split is calculated. Roughly an hour.

First sales

You start selling from stock the campus already holds. Nothing comes out of your own pocket. This is where you find out whether the role suits you.

Confirmed

You go on the campus roster, your weekly payout cycle begins, and you become eligible to be considered for CO, SO and eventually GO.

Does it cost anything to join? Read

No. There is no joining fee, no compulsory stock purchase and no deposit at any stage. You sell from stock the campus already holds.

If anyone asks you to pay to become Personnel, that request is not coming from Ecoboo — tell us.

How much can I actually make? Read

It depends on what you sell and how much of it. The structure is fixed — 80% of gross profit on your own sales — but we do not promise anyone a figure, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does.

What we can tell you is that printing and meals are the two lines that consistently move the most volume.

When do I get paid, and what if I redeem late? Read

Weekly. Commission is redeemed on Saturdays and Sundays once your campus has reconciled its QR takings for the week.

If you redeem later than that window, a small late-redemption admin fee applies — usually under RM10 — and it grows the longer the redemption is left outstanding. Leaving it three weeks can multiply it several times over. It exists because unclaimed commission holds up the whole campus reconciliation, not to catch anyone out.

From week 14 onward — study week and finals — redemptions are settled at end of semester instead.

Do leadership roles come with a salary? Read

No, and this is deliberate. Every leadership role in Ecoboo is unpaid unless the person is also selling as Personnel.

It keeps leaders in the market rather than above it. Someone setting prices and stock levels should be living with the consequences of those decisions.

Why 50/50 on some campuses? Read

A campus without an active General Operator runs at a 50/50 split instead of 80/20.

It is a deliberate lever. The better split exists on campuses where someone has taken responsibility for running the place — which is also the fastest way for a campus to earn its way back to 80/20.

Can I do this alongside a full course load? Read

As Personnel, yes — most sellers work around lectures and sell within their own block.

GO and EO are real operating commitments. They are worth taking on, but not during a semester where you are already stretched.

What happened to Frontmen and the special classes? Read

Gone. The structure is simpler now: you are either a General Operator running a campus, or a volunteer who wants to help open Ecoboo somewhere without running it day to day.

Volunteers still get the benefits of being inside Ecoboo — the network, the training, the product access — without carrying a campus target.

Can I join if my campus does not have Ecoboo yet? Read

Yes, and that is one of the best routes in. Opening a campus is how most General Operators start.
